Bienvenue et bonjour!
This class is designed for those with little to no French background. We will start with the basics like greetings and introductions, and move quickly on to other daily vocabulary, grammar, life, and culture from the francophone world. It is open to anyone from high school to adult and would be a great way to meet the homeschool foreign language requirement!
Topics covered will include – Introductions and greetings – Family – Friends – Studies and professions – Daily routine – Weather and travel – Household vocabulary
Each class will include ample time for actively practicing conversation with other students and the teacher. There will be activities to practice sounds, grammar, listening, speaking, writing, culture, and vocabulary.
This course will meet twice a week over 14 weeks with some breaks scheduled, for a total of 23 classes. There will be self-graded homework and tests and I will be available for added assistance when needed. The cost of the course will come out to only $5 per class!
