Hello! I am a mom of 4 living on a small homestead. My husband and I grow herbs, vegetables, fruits, and berries. We also raise sheep, cows, and chickens. We have been farming and homeschooling for over 20 years. I have two adult children and they taught me a lot about how different two children can learn! One had an extremely easy time with academics and the other struggled with dyslexia. During my years of homeschooling, I have used a wide range of curriculum and study a variety of teaching methods. Both of my adult children are homeschool graduates. I taught them pre-K through high school. Both of them have completed an AA. One is currently employed in a career he enjoys and the other is working on his bachelor's degree. I also have two elementary-age children. It is interesting how parenting changes with each generation and I love how many curriculums are available now! It can be overwhelming, but the variety really helps to tailor education to the child. I love it!
