Melissa Kehm lives in coastal southern New Jersey with her husband and their three daughters. An avid animal lover, Melissa has ten pets—including dogs, cats, parrots, chinchillas and even a domesticated skunk! She loves anything artistic, writing novels and stories, volunteering at her local community center and playing with her pet skunk, Teddy. Melissa started her professional art career in 1994 with the creation of her mural painting business. Since then she has had a thriving a face painting/balloon twisting business and now happily teaches art. She went to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where she studied things like illustrating, drawing and painting. Melissa is easygoing with a sunny personality, and is lots of fun, too! She believes that there is potential in every student, no matter what their age is, where they are from or how much experience they have. Melissa can’t wait to have some fun and teach you everything she can about art!
